At PCL Championships on 2/14, goals were met, state qualifying times were hit, school records broken, and the girls and boys program finished better than they have in 4 years!
The girls team finished 3rd overall in the meet - almost doubling last year's points and taking in multiple All Catholics. With a goal in mind they never gave up! This was the best finish for the girls since 2012!
All Catholics:
1st team: Alaina Johnson (2x) and Hannah Oropollo
2nd team: Alaina Johnson (2x), Hannah Oropollo, Celsey Golato, Elizabeth McKeaney
Honorable Mention: Samantha Gliwa (2x) , MaryKate Moeller, Hannah Bierling, Cate Lance, Celsey Golato, Jenna Rastatter, Bridgid O'Dea, Elizabeth McKeaney, and Paris Banks.
Alaina Johnson also hit the state qualifying time in the 60 hurdles, breaking her own school record.
Hannah Oropollo tied her school record in the pole vault (8 feet). Hannah Oropollo broke her own school record in the triple jump.
On the boys end- the boys finished 5th in the Philadelphia Catholic League! This was their best finish since 2011! They were 5 points away from the 4th place Archbishop Ryan! The boys also stuck to their guns and did not give up!
All Catholic:

2nd team: Sean Sullivan
Honorable mention: Dave Whitfield and Ethan Cook (2x)
Sean Sullivan qualified for state championships in the mile and ran a personal best time in the 3000.
Sean Sullivan went on to PTFCA State Championships on 2/28, where he set a personal best time of a 4:23.57 and finished 8th overall, leading to a state medal!
We are proud of the past success of the team and move on to a brighter future.
Outdoor track practice will begin on Monday, Match 7th at 3:15 on the track. If you missed registration please stop by practice and speak with the coaches.
